Virginia Park Restoration
Flagship project for Octagon Developments www.octagon.co.uk, completed a few years ago but a very significant project for all involved.
The scheme won numerous awards for both the quality of the restoration of the listed hospital building, the new houses, landscaping and the overall design of the scheme.
The project involved the conversion of a derelict Victorian Hospital into luxury houses. The Great Hall was restored, with its magnificent hammer beam roof trusses and ornate paintwork. We inserted a swimming pool and leisure centre into the old dining hall.
The wider development included fine detached houses and two large apartment blocks with underground parking. The quality of the entire development was fabulous in keeping with Octagon Developments immaculate high standards.
